Fish were trending in Glen Park Village this week.
Fish?
Yep, fish.
On Monday, Critter Fritters had a new window display, and the theme was fish! Tony, Fritter’s manager, told me that one of his customers volunteered to design this whimsical window, called “Life In A Fish Bowl.”
Across the street at Glen Park Hardware, Susan Tauber was working on her own fishy window. I asked Susan how it was that she came up with the same motif as Critter Fritters.
“Oh these are very different windows,” Susan insisted.
“Why do you say that?”
“Fish swim together in…?” she asked.
“Schools?” I answered.
“That’s right. See, our window is all about back-to-school.”
