Tuesday’s wet weather was treacherous for this 35 Eureka bus, which lost traction on the steep grade of Miguel Street past Chenery during the morning commute.
Neighbors reported that the bus slid and turned perpendicular to the street, crashing into a pickup truck on the south side of Miguel and mowing down a street tree on the north side.
