After a two-year absence, Glen Canyon Park’s pair of greathorned owls returned to the Owl Tree along Alms Road, and delivered triplets!
For the past couple of weeks, folks from all over they Bay area have been flocking to the park to see these adorable baby owlets.
They’ll be leaving their nest soon so there’s still time to come and see one of the many wonders of Glen Canyon Park.
To see them, walk into the park from Elk Street, then when you get past the Rec Center, curve right along the path to the upper roadway. There’s a big eucalyptus tree there on the left of the path, with a large owl nest in one of the high crotches.
