Sussex / Elk Street stair construction update – Monday November 27th –
The stair was demolished today, ahead of schedule. The project blog is updated with this information and site postings have been installed. SF Rec & Park apologizes for any confusion the community may have about this since the demolition happened ahead of schedule.
Construction to build replacement stairs into Glen Canyon from Elk Street at Sussex is slated to begin November 29. See the temporary detour map below:
