Multi-media artist and recycler extraordinaire Monica Lee is back to inspire us at our card making party. She and her fellow artist Dorothy Yuki this year are adding an Ornament Station to the wonderful mix.

Gather up your old holiday cards, gift-wrap, calendars, and magazines and bring them to the Conservatory. Lots of examples and inspiration for making handmade cards and ornaments using recycled, found, salvaged and everyday materials will be provided, along with some cardstock, punches, and other notions. Check out the event’s signature Envelope Bar and make easy origami-like envelopes (in all different styles and shapes) out of old calendar pages and cast-off books.

Children are welcome, but must be supervised by an accompanying adult.
