Upcoming community workshops to vision and design improvements for Glen
Canyon Park
Beginning this winter and continuing through late spring, The Trust for
Public Land (TPL), in partnership with San Francisco Recreation and Park
Department (RPD), will host six community workshops to vision and design a
Glen Canyon Park Improvement Plan. RPD and TPL will work with community
members and stakeholders to identify top priorities for Glen Canyon Park
and develop a phased improvement plan. Over 6 million bond dollars have
been dedicated to build the improvements that come out of the community
meetings. Please give us your ideas at the meeting!
The first meeting will be December 16, 2010, from 6:30-8:30 at the Glen
Canyon Park Recreation Center, located in Glen Canyon Park near the corner
of Elk and Chenery Street, and will kickoff the community design process.
Check the Glen Park Project webpage at:

meetings and updates. Please contact Trudy Garber, project associate, at

all at the first meeting!
