The SFMTA and SF Public Works will host a community meeting regarding the re-grading of Miguel Street (at Chenery) on Tuesday, September 11, at 6:30 p.m., at the Glen Canyon Recreation Center in Room 2.
The Glen Park Association Transportation Committee has been working with neighbors and the city to get information on this process, which is meant to remedy the frequent scraping of the 35 Eureka when it turns west to ascend Miguel Street from Chenery. Both agencies have been informed of community concerns regarding the re-grading and have been asked to come prepared to answer questions.
If you are interested in this (or any other transportation issue–or really any neighborhood issue at all!), please volunteer for your neighborhood association. The GPA is only as strong as its volunteers, and many are needed, from delivering the monthly newspaper to watering young trees to serving on committees and the board. Be the change you want to see!
