SAN FRANCISCO — A man who died in a motorcycle crash in San Francisco early Saturday morning was a well-known local business owner.
Josh Epple, 42, and his brother are owners of Drewes Meats on Church Street in San Francisco’s Noe Valley.
Epple died early Saturday morning after losing control of his motorcycle and falling from an elevated portion of Highway 101 near 10th street.
Epple took over Drewes Meats in 1998.
The business started 125 years ago and is thought to be the oldest operating butcher shop in California.
