4 Open Houses Scheduled For February & March 2016
The SFMTA wants to hear your ideas on how to update and improve its Residential Parking Permit program.
The program has been largely unchanged for 39 years, even as San Francisco has changed considerably. The SFMTA is seeking to update the program, align it with the city’s transportation goals and policies, and improve customer service for permit holders.
We want your help to do that.
Four open houses are scheduled for February and March 2016. The information presented at each meeting will be the same. You may choose to attend any one of the open houses – or all of them – to share your ideas or provide input.
- Tuesday,February 23, 2016, from 6 to 8:30 PM, James Lick Middle School (Noe Valley)
- Wednesday, February, 24, 2016, from 6 to 9 PM, Betty Ann Ong Chinese Recreation Center (Chinatown/Nob Hill)
- Saturday, February 27, 2016, from 9:30 AM to Noon, County Fair Building (Richmond District/Sunset)
- Tuesday, March 1, 2016, from 5:30 to 8 PM, San Francisco City College/Ocean Avenue Campus, Multi Use Building, Room 140 (Ingleside/OMI)
The SFMTA is undertaking a comprehensive, data-driven evaluation of the Residential Permit Parking, or RPP, program. The evaluation includes data on existing trends and a citywide survey on residential parking. The completed program evaluation, including recommendations for program reform, will be presented to the SFMTA Board of Directors in fall 2016.
