Thanks to the Glen Park Association, SFPD Captain Jack Hart and Liveable Streets, this year Chenery Street between Diamond and Elk will be officially closed on Halloween so the mob of trick-or-treating tykes can rove safely through the neighborhood.

The following streets will be closed to vehicle traffic on Wednesday, October 31st from 4:45pm to 8:45pm.
Chenery Street between Elk and Diamond streets; Burnside Avenue between Chenery Street and southern terminus (local access allowed via Paradise Avenue); Paradise Avenue between Elk Street and Burnside Avenue (local access allowed via Elk Street); Chilton Avenue between Chenery Street and southern terminus; Brompton Avenue between Chenery and Kern streets; Kern Street between Brompton Avenue and Diamond Street (local access allowed); Mizpah Street between Sussex and Chenery streets (local access allowed via Sussex Street); Surrey Street between Swiss Avenue and Chenery Street (local access allowed via Swiss Avenue); Lippard Avenue between Surrey and Chenery streets (local access allowed via Surrey Street); Thor Avenue between Surrey and Chenery streets (local access allowed via Surrey Street) Intersections closed: Mizpah Street, Surrey Street, Burnside Avenue, Chilton Avenue, Lippard Avenue, Brompton Avenue, and Thor Avenue at Chenery Street
