What: Under the auspices of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and the San Francisco Public Library, local sections of this massive 41-ft by 37-ft, 3-dimensional model of the City of San Francisco, constructed by the Works Project Administration in 1940, are being displayed at branch libraries throughout the city. Join Glen Park historian Evelyn Rose, Sunnyside historian Amy O’Hair, Diamond Heights architectural historian Hannah Simonson, and Miraloma Park historian Jacquie Proctor as they use model sections of Glen Park, plus high resolution images of city model segments for Sunnyside, Diamond Heights, and Miraloma Park to describe the history of development in our district.
