Diamond/Bosworth update: Nov. 23 edition

I’ve received a schedule change from the contractors. Due to the rain forecasted for tomorrow, the construction schedule was revised and the crew will be focusing their efforts on the southeast/BART corner. Here is the revised schedule:

Monday

  • Complete sidewalk and brickwork on the southeast (BART) corner
  • Sidewalk restoration on the southwest (Glen Park Market) and northeast (formerly Citibank) corners – will be finished in January

Tuesday

  •        Pave southeast corner (if raining, work will be postponed to Wednesday) – Postponed to Wednesday due to rain forecast
  • Lay brickwork on southwest corner along Bosworth – work will be finished in January
  • Demobilize barriers and clean-up at the intersection

Wednesday

  • Pave southeast corner, clean up
  • Sidewalk restoration on northwest (Pebble’s Café) corner along Diamond– work will be finished in January
  • Finish brickwork on southwest corner along Bosworth – work will be finished in January

The curb ramps at the southwest (Glen Park Market), northeast (formerly Citibank) and northwest (Pebble’s Café) corners will have temporary asphalt. In January, crews will return to finish the remainder of the work.
