Last week, crews started to mobilize and begin initial work around the northeast corner (formerly Citibank). The median between Diamond and Brompton has been cleared out. And the southeast corner (BART) has been curing after the new foundation was poured.
This week, we are aiming to complete the northwest (by Pebble’s Café) and the southeast corners by laying in the decorative brick bands. Crews will begin doing some sewer and electrical work on the northeast corner, which is expected to last through next week. Initial work on the southwest corner (Glen Park Market) started this week. In order to complete the foundation pour of the northeast and southwest corners, we will need to work in front of businesses and a residence. Access to the buildings’ front doors will be maintained at all times. We have already begun speaking with storefronts and left notices at the residence regarding this temporary disruption. As we move forward, SFMTA will reach out to the storefronts and residence and consult with them to find an appropriate time to complete this work and make note of any conflicts.
There are currently two project boards out at the intersection—both are the OneSF project boards. They are posted on the northwest and southeast corners. The additional project boards are anticipated to be posted alongside the OneSF boards sometime next week.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
