The following are Glen Park crimes from the Ingleside Station newsletter
Thursday April 5
9:30pm 200 blk Randall Burglary
Officers Chew and Lim were sent to investigate a burglary case. The victim told the officers that her bicycle was stolen out a detached garage area. The victim told the officers that the last time she saw the bike was yesterday. The victim told the officers that on her way home from work she saw her bike locked to parking sign. The officers were able to verify that the bike was hers and released it to her at the scene. This case is still under investigation. 120272096
10:10pm Bosworth/Diamond Robbery
Officers Benavides and Lustenberger were sent to investigate a robbery. The victim told the officers that while on her way home from the Glen Park BART. The victim told the officer’s that while on the phone talking to her husband a suspect came up from behind and ripped the phone out of her hand and continued to run. The Victim gave chase to the suspect (kinda) but the suspect was faster and was able to pull away from her. The victim was able to see that there was another suspect that met up with the first suspect, and then both fled. As the officers were still at the scene a couple walked up and handed them a phone that they had just found! The phone turned out to be that victims! Victim and phone were happily reunited and a search for the suspect went on. There were no injuries. Report number 120272739
7:06pm Bosworth/Elk Traffic Accident
Friday April 6
3:28pm Bosworth & Lippard St Warrant
Officers Sugitan and Fung were on patrol when they spotted a vehicle fail to stop at a posted stop sign. The officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and contacted the driver. A records check revealed that the driver was driving on a suspended license and was wanted on two outstanding warrants. The driver was arrested. Report 120274490
12:00pm Unit Blk Richland Ave Burglary
Officers Sugitan and Fung responded to a report of burglary. The victim secured and locked the exterior door to her basement. A short time later, she received a phone call from a neighbor telling her that the basement door was ajar. The victim returned home and searched the basement. Nothing appeared to be missing. The officers examined the door and discovered that the suspect had broken the lock on the door in order to gain entry. Report 120277024

Monday April 9
1:09pm Mission/Randall Traffic Violation
While on patrol, Officer Sugitan noticed a vehicle with expired registration driving in front of him. He affected a traffic stop and identified the suspect through his CA photo identification. The suspect was not in possession of his license. A computer query was done which revealed that the man had a suspended driver’s license, and the vehicle registration was expired. The suspect also had two outstanding warrants. The suspect was transported back to the Ingleside Police Station. He was booked into custody upon confirmation of the warrants. Report Number 120281649
Tuesday April 10
12:00pm 2300 Blk Diamond Fraud
While on duty at the Ingleside Police Station, PSA Cato was approached by a male who came to the station regarding a fraud. The victim claimed that his wallet went missing and shortly thereafter he received a letter from the public library saying that he owed a large amount of money for overdue fees. He advised he never checked out the items in question and they requested he file a police report. He was unable to provide any suspect information and was given follow up information. 11:00pm Unit Blk Natick Trespass
Sgt. Miller was sent to the complaint of a trespasser. The complainant advised that he shares a common area with another tenant who he has been having problems with. There is a bathroom near this area that the complainant claims exclusive use of. He said that on today’s date, he noticed a small heater in the bathroom had been turned on and left running overnight. The complainant believed it was the tenant he has been having problems with, but he had no proof of this. Sgt. Miller provided him with follow up information. Report Number 120283714

Officer Pederson was sent to investigate a vandalism case. The victim told the officer that she left her home this morning and that when she returned she discovered that her window was broken. No suspects were seen. Report number 120288980

Saturday April 14/Sunday April 15
1:40am 100 Blk Monterey Blvd Arson
Officers Campion-Healy and Frisk were dispatched to a report of arson of a vehicle. The victim had parked his vehicle in his driveway upon his return home earlier in the morning. The victim went into his residence. A short time later, the victim heard his door bell ring and he looked out the window. The victim saw a cab, but didn’t see any person. The victim figured the cab had the wrong address so he did not answer the door. A few minutes later, the victim’s doorbell rang again. He looked out in front but did not see the cab, or any person. The victim went to sleep. When he awoke, he found a note from the SFFD telling him that his vehicle had been burned, and that they attempted to contact him by ringing the doorbell. The inside of the victim’s vehicle had been burned. Report 120295537
Monday April 16
2:00am 500 Blk Chenery Vandalism
While on patrol, Officers Jones and Pedersen were dispatched to a call regarding vandalism. Upon their arrival, they met with the victim, who stated that he woke up, and looked out the window, only to see an unknown male suspect jumping on the hood of his car. The victim yelled out his window, to the suspect, which caused him to flee the area. Multiple Ingleside units searched the area for the subject, to no avail. While investigating the victim’s vehicle, Officer Pedersen found two distinct footprints on the hood of the victim’s car. The officers then received a call describing continued vandalism in the area. The officers responded to the scene and observed several damaged vehicles. While on scene, the officers observed a man who matched the description of the suspect the victim had given to the officers earlier. He was detained for questioning, along with an associate that he was with. The suspect stated that he and his associate were walking their dogs in the neighborhood, and that he was on his way to visit his girlfriend on Fillmore. Officer Pedersen asked the suspect to show him the soles of his shoes, which matched those that were on the hood of the car. The victim was then brought to the scene, to identify the suspect. The suspect was positively identified by the victim, was placed in handcuffs, and transported back to Ingleside Police Station where he was booked into custody. Report Number 120303005
2:13pm Unit Blk Rotteck Vandalism
While on patrol, Officers Fung and Sugitan responded to a call regarding vandalism. Upon arrival, they met with the victim who claims that at approximately 1:00pm, he was in his backyard, when he discovered that his fence had been damaged. No suspects have been identified and he could provide no further information. Report Number 120301413
11:44pm Unit Blk Richland Malicious Mischief
Dispatch sent Officers Contreras, and Hermosura to an attempted burglary call. The officers met with the victims, who stated that someone had attempted to break into their home through the ground floor. They showed the officers the door knob, which was slightly crushed, and jammed. The victims noticed the damaged door knob on 4/9/12, but did not report it to the police until 4/16/12. Despite the door knob being damaged, nothing was taken from inside the home. The officers took pictures of the damage which they booked into evidence. They provided the victims with follow up information. Due to the lack of physical evidence, SFPD’s Crime Scene Investigations Unit was not notified. Report Number 120302778
