Have you signed up to get the monthly Glen Park Branch Library newsletter in your inbox? You haven’t!? It just takes a minute. We’ll wait right here while you go on and do that.
For those who have seen the newsletter, you know we have a bunch of amazing events lined up for you in April. Not only are we welcoming the Oakland Youth Poet Laureate, Nairobi Barnes to perform with Students from the Spoken Arts program at Ruth Asawa School of the Arts, we’re also inviting you to perform in our first karaoke sing-along in the library. And if the visual arts are more your thing, drop in while supplies last to pick up a 3″x3″ canvas to contribute to our May 18th Open House and Tiny Art Show debut.
As always, that’s just a small smattering of the many wonderful events you can experience at the library. Visit our website for the full listing and start adding items to your calendar.
