A bikeshare dock on Arlington Street at Roanoke will appear as early as next Monday, after the city approved the permit at a June 12 engineering hearing of the San Francisco Metropolitan Transportation Committee.
The 53-foot station will be on the south side of the street, adjacent to city-owned green space.
According to Lyft spokeswoman Rachel Aikawa, “No Parking” signs will be posted a few days before the deployment to make room for equipment and crews. The signs will cover an area larger than the station footprint for installation, which she estimated to take a few hours.
“Our team regularly cleans and maintains every bikeshare station,” Aikawa said. Residents are encouraged to call 855-480-2453 to report vandalism or additional needs.
