Flaming newspapers rammed into business’ mail slot

A man tried to set a Glen Park business on fire early Tuesday morning by stuffing newspapers into the business’s mail slot in the 2900 block of Diamond Street about 3 a.m. before setting them ablaze, police said.

No serious loss or damage to the business was reported.
