On-Street Shared Vehicle Parking Permit Proposal
The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) has carried out a pilot program to test the use of on-street parking spaces as stations (“pods”) for shared vehicles, with about 140 locations established across the city. You can review and download the pilot evaluation report here (Acrobat PDF format, 2 Mb).
Based on the pilot experience, the SFMTA has developed a proposal for an On-Street Shared Vehicle Parking Permit Program, which is set to be considered for approval by the SFMTA Board of Directors on July 18. You can learn more about the proposed shared vehicle parking permit program here:

Everyone is welcome to attend the SFMTA Board meeting and comment on the permit proposal:

Comments on the proposal can also be made via e-mail to all members of the SFMTA Board:
The SFMTA board will be considering approval of the overall permit program, not specific locations for permitting parking spaces. If the program is approved by the SFMTA Board, shared vehicle permit location proposals will be brought forward through review and approval separately.
