It’s been a long gestation, but Burnside Mural+ is thrilled to share the great news that the
installation of the tiles for the Burnside Steps has begun! We expect the installation to be completed toward the end of October. This will fulfill the vision of celebrating Glen Park’s history with a mural and tiled steps.

Glen Park, especially around Burnside Avenue, should expect visitors coming to gaze at SF’s newest tiled stairway. Please encourage people to visit our local businesses! From the experiences of other tiled stairways, this is likely to create foot and car traffic in the area for a couple of months after which it will slow down.
