Roadway Improvements Coming to Parts of Glen Park

by Bonnee Waldstein
As part of its program to improve and preserve 200 blocks annually of SF city streets, SF Public Works will be “micro-surfacing” several blocks in Glen Park. Micro-surfacing involves applying a sealant to the street and takes only 2 days per block to complete.

The tentative list of candidate blocks as of March 9 in Glen Park:

Sometime between 4/19 – 4/26: Roanoke from Chenery to Arlington
Sometime between 4/20 – 4/27: Laidley from Fairmount to Miguel; Fairmount from Chenery to Whitney

Residents will be given 7-10 days notice.

Go to for more information on the microsurfacing program and how residents will be impacted.
