DHB Roadwork Update

Construction Update #7 –August 23, 2017

Dear Neighbors,

We are rapidly approaching the end of our project and crews are preparing for roadway paving next week. Beginning Monday, August 28th 2017 our sub-contractor Esquivel Grading and Paving will start grinding and paving the roadway at the following locations along Diamond Heights Boulevard:

Phase 1 Paving (8/28/17-9/9/17)
*Portola Drive – Clipper St.
*Diamond St – Addison St
*Diamond St – Berkley Way

Phase 2 Paving (9/11/17-9/22/17)
*Clipper St. – Gold Mine Dr.

Phase 3 Paving (9/23/17-9/31/17)
*Gold Mine Dr. – Diamond St.

The remaining work on this project includes:

  • Landscaping replacement along DHB at Carnelian Way
  • Flashing Beacon pedestrian pole installation at the mid-way crossing at the shopping center
  • Sidewalk installation and pedestrian guard-rail alongside Glen Canyon Park

  1. Great, but what about from Goldmine to Duncan, that stech is riddled with bone jarring road bumps, and significant under pavement variations, so how about replacing the whole roadbed by somebody who has the necessary and extensive skill sets to do a superb job?
