DH Road Work – Update

Forwarded from SFPW:

Diamond Heights Boulevard Pavement Renovation and Water Replacement Project

Construction Update #4 –March 7, 2017

Dear Neighbors,
Construction is underway. Although the rains last month caused several delays, we have completed the first block of water-main work between Duncan St. and Carnelian Way and curb-ramps at Arbor St. Curb-ramp work will continue along Diamond Heights Blvd for the next 6-8 months at various locations.

Work Activity for – March 2017
Addison and Gold Mine: curb-ramps installation

DHB Addison and Gold Mine to Berkeley Way (S): Water-main installation

Berkeley Way (south@ Canyon park): Adding sidewalk, ADA curb ramps, crosswalks and guardrails replacement at the trail entrance to Canyon Park

The contractor will generally work one block at a time to minimize any disruptions to area residents. Since we have several locations under this contract, it may be weeks or months before we start construction on your block. You will be notified approximately 2-weeks ahead of time with specific dates.

Traffic Impacts
Please observe the “no-parking” signs. Access to driveways will be provided at all times. Delays may occur while crews create a path for vehicles. Please allow extra travel time during construction
