Glen Park Neighborhoods History Project wins award

GPNHP TO RECEIVE AWARD FROM THE SAN FRANCISCO HISTORY ASSOCIATION! 
We are very proud to announce that the GPNHP is to be the recipient of the Walter G. Jebe, Sr. Neighborhood Award from the San Francisco History Association, “… presented each year to a person or organization for focusing on local neighborhood history or to an ongoing project to educate and enlighten the residents of an area of the city.” The Awards Dinner is Saturday, July 9. Learn more! Thanks to all of you for your interest and incredible support of our neighborhoods’ histories!

Tuesday, May 31Finding the Freshet that Foiled François, presented by Joel Pomerantz, San Francisco’s Water Historian (SeepCity.org), presented at the meeting of the San Francisco History Association. St. Philip’s Church, 725 Diamond Street (between Elizabeth Street & 24th Street). Doors open at 7 PM, program begins 7:45 PM. General admission $5, SFHA members admission is FREE.
