Flasher alert in Glen Park

Screen Shot 2014-03-13 at 9.43.48 AMBrittany Clark was reading in the mini park between Alemany and Cayuga Street early Wednesday evening when a man came up to her and exposed himself.

“I just wanted to give a heads up to the women of Glen Park to be hyper vigilant,” she said. “I called the police, but they never came.”

The man was in his 20s or 30s, white with dark hair and beard. He was wearing a blue t-shirt and sunglasses.

The incident took place at around 5:45 p.m. It was still daylight and there was a lot of foot traffic, which is why it bothered me even more. This guy was bold,” she said.

“He cut across the park and then came back a few minutes later- this time coming towards me. He greeted me, and when I looked up he was exposed. He asked if I “liked his c**k”. I said no and hit him with a book.”

The book about humanity’s varied relationships with different animal species, “Some We Love, Some We Hate, Some We Eat.”

“It was a library book too, which is why I didn’t hit him anywhere else.,” she said.

Thankfully, the man didn’t react or follow her “but I was still incredibly unsettled,” she said.
