1:20pm       600 Blk Chenery           Burglary
A Pilates instructor and her student were in the middle of a private
session when three suspects and their three infant children walked
into the Pilates studio located along the 600 Block of Chenery Street.
The instructor politely asked the suspects that she was in the middle
of a private session and asked if they could return at a later time or
call for an appointment. She was ignored, and the suspects walked
around as if casing the place. When asked to leave again, one of the
suspects said she needed to change her baby and proceeded to change
the infant on top of a bench near the front door. The remaining two
suspects walked around the studio as a distraction. One by one the
suspects left the studio. The last female suspect bolted from the
studio taking with her the victim’s purse which was stored underneath
the bench. The victim and the instructor saw this and ran after the
suspects. The victim chased down the one suspect with her purse and
was able to retrieve it, but the suspect fled the scene a second time.
Arriving units scoured the area and were able to locate the remaining
two suspects. They were taken into custody and viewed by both the
victim and the instructor. Both of them identified the two suspects in
custody as taking part in the crime. A search for the outstanding
suspect was done to no avail. During the investigation, the officers
on scene located the suspects’ vehicle not too far away and found
additional items belonging to other victim’s. The suspects were
transported to Ingleside Station and booked on numerous charges
including burglary and child endangerment. Report Number: 130692917

10:42pm     400 Blk Arlington                   Assault
A woman walking down the sidewalk noticed a sightseeing vehicle slowly
driving down the street next to her. She told Ingleside Officers
Lustenberger and Chew that the vehicle passed her and then stopped a
short distance away after making a turn onto Roanoke Street. As the
victim kept walking, she noticed a man walk from Roanoke, turn onto
Arlington and walk past her, before turning around and push the victim
into a wall causing her to fall down. The suspect stood over her for a
short time but didn’t say anything. The victim began screaming for
help and a neighbor, hearing her screams, called “911”. The suspect
then fled into some bushes on the 500 block of Arlington. The woman
then got up off the ground and started walking away when the suspect
reappeared from the bushes, tackled the victim and threw her on the
ground again. At that time the same neighbor yelled, “get off of her,
I have a gun” and the suspect ran away eastbound on Roanoke street and
across the San Jose Avenue footbridge. Officers Lustenberger and Chew
inspected the shuttle, which was reported stolen, and removed several
fingerprints from the vehicle. The victim was evaluated and treated at
the scene by medical personnel. A search of the area by Ingleside
units did not find the suspect. Case number: 130697597

7:30am       Arlington/Richland                  D.U.I
Ingleside Officer Adams was driving eastbound on Arlington Street when
she noticed a car had collided with a cement wall at the southwest
corner of Arlington and Richland Avenue. Two witnesses to the
collision were yelling and pointing, “He just got out of the car”.
Officer Adams noticed a man wearing a black jacket, white t-shirt and
blue jeans, walking about a block away. She drove up to the suspect
and asked him to halt and get on the ground. Instead, the suspect
turned toward a sloped ledge, and jumped rolling down a hill onto San
Jose Avenue. He then got up and started running away. Officer Adams
notified dispatch of his escape and soon Ingleside Officers Curry and
Trujillo found the suspect lying on the ground asleep and took him
into custody. Medical personnel were summoned and when they arrived
they were initially unable to wake the suspect from his slumber. With
continued effort, he finally awoke enough to admit to the officers
that he had been drinking. He was taken to San Francisco General
Hospital for some injuries he sustained during the collision. He was
later transported to county jail and booked for driving under the
influence and narcotics violations for a supply of marijuana found in
his car. Case number: 130725687

9:10pm       Bosworth/280  Freeway          Robbery
A woman walking home from the store lost her cell phone during a
violent robbery. Ingleside Officer Hom was flagged down by three
women, the victim and two witnesses, who told the following story. The
victim said she had gone shopping at a local market and was walking
home with her groceries while talking to her mother on her cell phone.
As she passed underneath the freeway on Bosworth Street, and unknown
male grabbed her from behind with one hand covering her mouth and the
other grabbing her phone. The suspect pushed her to the ground and
punched her in the face several times before wrestling the phone free.
He then got up and sprinted to a waiting car with two passengers and
sped away while she screamed for help. The two witnesses were walking
in the opposite direction on Bosworth street saw the attack and heard
the victim screaming. The two women also began screaming for help and
watched the suspect escape in an older Honda four door sedan. Case
