Glen Park Crime Report: Jan. 31 – Feb. 1, 2013

The following are Glen Park crimes from the Ingleside Station Newsletter

Thursday, January 31st, 2013
4:00pm 100 Blk Whitney Theft from Vehicle
6:55pm Thor/Chenery H&R
9:00pm Unit Blk Monterey Stolen Vehicle

Friday, February 1st, 2013
2:40 A.M. Diamond Heights Discharge of Firearms
Officer Hauscarriague and Pederson were assisting other Ingleside officers investigating a stolen vehicle on Diamond Heights when they heard several gunshots in the area. Immediately after hearing the gunshots, the officers observed a gold SUV driving recklessly, on the wrong side of the street, down Diamond Heights. The officers jumped into their patrol vehicle, followed the SUV, pulling it over a several blocks later on Chenery. With additional officers on scene, three individuals were pulled from the vehicle and handcuffed. A thorough search of the SUV discovered two hidden handguns and spent ammunition. All three occupants were arrested for several crimes. Because of the attention to detail and fast acting officers a gun and ammo was recovered. Three suspects were taken into custody and are no longer a threat to our community! That is why this is ****The Best Arrest of the Day*** Report number 130090327

    Has there been discussion on how to address vehicle burglary in the neighborhood? My car was broken into tonight 2 blocks from the Glen Park BART station on Bosworth. I noticed more broken auto glass on the same block.
